# Make this handbook better!

This documentation is a living and constantly-evolving thing, open to contributions by all lab members. **Please contribute to our lab handbook by correcting mistakes or adding new content**. 

By default, lab members have read-only access. To edit the handbook, please refer to the instructions on Basecamp in the NCIL Core Docs & Files section. 

Once you're logged in as an editor, enter edit mode by clicking click the "Edit" icon in the top right of the screen. When you are finished editing a page, click the "Merge" button at the bottom of the screen. 

From there most things are pretty intuitive. The documentation is at <https://docs.gitbook.com>
