Collaborators

Collaborators are usually faculty members from Dalhousie or elsewhere who are leading projects in partnership with NCIL. Often, collaborators come in with their own funding or resources, but may borrow or rent lab equipment or lab space to pursue the experiment. Sometimes collaborators will supervise honours or graduate students who are lab members.

Some of our collaborators are listed below:

Colin Conrad, Faculty of Management, Dalhousie University - Colin is a professor at Dalhousie's Faculty of Management who leads EEG projects related to information technology brain processing. As of 2023, he is working on a projects related to mind wandering, e-learning, and social media.

Hélène Deacon, Department of Psychology & Neuroscience, Dalhousie University - Hélène is a professor in the department who collaborates closely with NCIL on projects related to language acquisition and youth.

Anika Nissen, FernUniversität Hagen (Hagen Remote University) - Anika is a postdoc at FernUni Hagen (Germany) who was a visiting scholar at the lab. She as of 2023, she is leading projects related to machine learning and data science automation.
